Artrice L. Morris,  Assistant Principal

Artrice Morris began her educational journey in the Humphreys County and Yazoo City school districts. She is a proud graduate of Yazoo City High School Class of 2000. Upon graduation from YCHS, she attended Mississippi Valley State University and later transferred to Mississippi State University. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Human Resources degree in May 2004. After graduating from Mississippi State University, she decided to embark upon a career in the educational field at Yazoo City High School as a technology lab facilitator. In October 2004, she became a teacher at Woolfolk Middle School where she taught English Language Arts and Information and Communication Technology II for 14 years. She continued her studies at Belhaven University where she obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Education in Reading Literacy. In December 2012, she received my Education Specialist in Educational Leadership degree from Mississippi College. She has served in the capacity of assistant principal for the last 3 years.
